Ever since Elvis sold his soul for the corporate goal in 1955 the major players in this business we like to call music have sat back and counted the cash whilst controlling the gates of culture......for the most part stifling anything that is worth hearing or listening to and forcing homogeneous crap down our throats until we can't breathe.

Then along came the internet and gave it to them right where the sun does not shine....and that, as they say was the end of that. Currently, as I write this it is like seeing the death throes of a fly that wriggles and squirms and throws itself at windows and walls to try and find some kind of miracle cure that is never going to come..

For the rest of us....Well it is just fantastic. The rise of independents has never been so relevant. Like the rise through American black music in the 50's and 60's and through punk and acid house in the 70's and 80's. The only problem then was if you were any good they bought you.....Not now buddy. Why? Cos they ain't got no money!

So here at Robot we have been making damn fine music for the past 5 years. We anticipated the death of CDs.....to combat this we package all our music in veritable works of art. Seriously our products have the most innovative packages and are bound in the most beautiful art and made from the best quality materials. I should know cos they cost us a small fortune! Do we care about the cost? No! We want you to appreciate our artists and work way beyond the CD.
